A Summer Visit to Big Bend

Here’s some shots, mostly landscapes, of a July visit to Big Bend’s Basin area. Seems like going to the desert in July is a bad idea, but The Basin was really cool still. We ventured to the valley once to see the Rio Grande and realized quickly that we had made a good decision by camping in the higher elevations.

Here’s a couple of snap shots I took of Juliana, daughter of my friends Josh and MP. Ever since, I have thought of Juliana as the Gerber Baby. I still do, nevermind that she’s 3 years old now.
